Telnet Access
Use the following steps to establish a Telnet session with the wireless terminal.
3. On the PC, open a Telnet client and enter the unit TCP/IP address. The default
wireless address is:
IP: 192.168.25.2
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
4. Login to the wireless terminal using the assigned username and password. The
default credentials are:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Note: If the IP address or username/password of the unit is unknown, refer to the RDL-
3000 Family User manual section 'Recover from Lost Password or IP'.
4.9.3 Install Options Key Upgrade
The default options key (2 Mbps) is installed at the factory. This procedure is required
only if additional features have been purchased for this specific Connect-OWS system.
6. Use a Web browser to login to the wireless terminal. You must login as administrator.
7. Click Utilities -> Product Options to display the Product Options screen.
8. Enter a valid permanent or temporary options key in unused Options Key field.
Important: Do not overwrite the default key from the factory.
9. Set the Active Options Key setting to the new key (e.g., Options Key 2).
10. Click Activate to enable the new features. It is recommended to reboot the system.

Note: The options key may also be installed using Telnet. Refer to the RDL-3000 Family
User Manual the required commands.
4.9.4 Network and RF Settings
Review and adjust the following parameters as required. Refer to the information
collected during the site survey.
To save changes click Apply & Save All. Note that changing to another screen discards
all unsaved changes.
