Thevehiclewillstarttomovewithmoreorlessforcedependingonthesetting.Thehigherthesettingvalue,the
more current the engine draws from the connected rechargeable battery; so the rechargeable battery must be
high-performance.
A higher setting should only be used on unpaved surfaces, as paved surfaces may overload the engine (transmis-
sion, differentials).
• Function#5,greenLEDashesvetimes:Maximumbrakeforce
Thespeedcontrolleroffersaproportionalbrakeforcedependingonthepositionofthetransmitterlever.Themaxi-
mumbrakeforceatfulldeectionisadjustablebetween25%,50%,75%,and100%.
A higher setting (e.g. 100%) decreases the braking distance, but has a negative impact on the lifespan of the engine
(especially the drive pinion and main gear).
c) Resetting the speed controller
Usethisfunctiontoresetallconguredsettingstothefactorydefaults(seegreymarkingsinthetableinchapter10.b).
Proceed as follows:
• Switch on the remote control. Leave the throttle/brake lever in the neutral position, do not move it.
• Turnonthespeedcontrollerbymovingtheslideswitchinthedirectionofthesetupbutton.Thevehicleshouldnow
be ready for operation, no LED will light up on the speed controller.
• HolddownthesetupbuttonuntiltheredandgreedLEDsstarttoash.
• Nowturnoffthespeedcontrollerbysettingtheslideswitchtothe"OFF"position:

WhenusingaLiPovehiclebattery,checkthespeedcontrollersettingstoconrmthatundervoltagepro-
tection is enabled (normally 3.0 V/cell). If undervoltage detection is switched off, the LiPo battery may be
permanently damaged due to overdischarge.
