64 - Getting to know your vehicle

The seat belt must be worn as close to

Locking
Unwind the belt slowly and smoothly
and ensure that the buckle

locks into
the catch

(check that it is locked by
pulling on the buckle

Ifthebeltjams,allowittoreturnslight
ly before attempting to unwind it again.
If your seat belt is completely jammed,
pull slowly, but firmly, so that just over
3 cm unwinds. Allow it to wind up, then
unwind it again.
If there is still a problem, contact an
approved dealer.
Unlocking
Press the button

and the seat belt
will be rewound by the inertia reel.

to select the position
you require so that the shoulder strap

is worn as described above.
Make sure that the seat belt is locked

driver's and/or front passenger's seat

Depending on the vehicle, if the seat is
occupied and one of these seat belts is
not fastened or becomes unfastened
while the vehicle is moving at a speed
