134 - Practical advice
Spare Wheel 2
The spare wheel is stored in cradle
3
underneath the floor at the rear of the
vehicle.
To access the emergency spare
wheel
– Have all passengers get out from the
vehicle;
– Open the luggage compartment door
and fold down the third row seat
🡺 113;
– loosen the bolt using the wheelbrace
1
🡺 136;
– Unhook the cradle
3
by lifting up-
ward direction to release it from the
hook
4
;
– release the emergency spare wheel.
Do not loosen the bolt ex-
cessively, otherwise the
spare wheel cradle may fall
suddenly.
To store the wheel in the cage
– Make sure to reposition the wheel
2
correctly in the cradle, with the valve
facing downwards;
– place the wheel as far to the right as
possible and at the bottom of the cra-
dle
3
(movement
A
);
– lift the cradle
3
towards upward di-
rection and re-fit into hook
4
;
– tighten the nut using the wheelbrace
1
to refit and lock the assembly;
– fold the third row seat back to the
desired position.
If the vehicle is parked
on the hard shoulder,
you must warn other
road users of your
vehicle’s presence with a warning
triangle or with other devices as
per the legislation applying to the
country you are in.
Do not leave the tools
unsecured inside the ve-
hicle as they may be
projected during braking.
After use, make sure the tools are
correctly positioned in their
mountings: failure to do so
presents a risk of injury. If bolts
are supplied with the emergency
spare wheel, you must use these
bolts only for the emergency
spare wheel.
