46 - Getting to know your vehicle
Urgent stop warning light (red)
This lights up when the ignition is
switched on and goes out as soon as
the engine is started and is accompa-
nied by a beep. It requires you to stop
immediately, for your own safety, as
soon as traffic conditions allow. Switch
off the engine and do not restart it.
Contact an approved Dealer.
Stop light
This lights up when the ignition or en-
gine is switched on and goes out as
soon as the engine is running. It
comes on with other warning lights
and/ or messages on the instrument
panel.
It requires you to stop immediately, for
your own safety, as soon as traffic con-
ditions allow. Switch off the engine and
do not restart it.
Contact an approved Dealer.
Warning light
This lights up when the ignition or en-
gine is switched on and goes out as
soon as the engine is running. It can
light up in conjunction with other warn-
ing lights and/or messages on the in-
strument panel.
It means you should drive very care
fully to an approved dealer as soon as
possible. If you fail to follow this rec-
ommendation, you risk damaging your
vehicle.
The presence and operation of the
warning lights DEPEND ON THE
EQUIPMENT AND COUNTRY.
Oil pressure warning light
This comes when ignition is ON and
goes out after few seconds. If it comes
on when you are driving accompanied
and a beep, it is essential to stop and
switch off the ignition. Contact an ap-
proved Dealer.
Warning light for monitoring
exhaust gas
It comes on when the ignition is
switched on and then goes out.
– If it lights up continuously, consult an
approved dealer as soon as possible.
– If it flashes, reduce the engine speed
until the light stops flashing. Contact
your approved Dealer as soon as pos-
sible.

Variable power-assisted
steering warning light
It lights up when the ignition or the en-
gine is switched on and goes off after a
few seconds.
If it comes on while driving, this means
there is a system fault. Contact an au-
thorised dealer.
Warning light for the electron
ic stability program (ESC) and trac
tion control system
There are several reasons for the
warning light to come on 🡺 71

Low fuel level warning light
This warning light gets ON when igni-
tion is ON and remains lit permanently
(or) depending on the variant, the
warning light goes off after few sec-
onds
Depending on the variants,if it blinks
(or) gets ON when driving and accom-
panied by a beep, it indicates the fuel
level is getting low.Fill up with fuel as
soon as possible
Depending on the variants, if the fuel
last bar starts blinking, fill up with fuel
as soon as possible.
Before starting the vehicle, always
check the fuel level indicator in the in-
strument panel
