The HPVC inner rail extends in comparison to the aluminium side guiding channel. In case the
side guiding channels are shortened, take into account the same overlength for the HPVC inner
rail!

3.2.2 • Drilling through the side guiding channels
The fixed part of the side guiding channel
is not pre-drilled, so you must drill through this part
of the side guiding channel yourself. The middle profile of the side guiding channel
is pre-
drilled and ready for installation.
You start drilling at the top, as high as possible
but with a maximum distance of 250 mm
from the top of the side guiding channel.
The maximum distance between drill holes is
750mm.
The drillings need to be done as straight as
possible to guarantee a good fastening of the
side guiding channels (certainly in case of
high wind load).
In case of side guiding channel ‘D’ we strongly
advise to drill the hole from the outside.
Take into account that the side guiding channels
are integrated into the façade.
