3.2.4 • Installation instructions for the side guiding channel with balustrade

A saw cut was made in the side guiding channel at the specified height of the balustrade. The

saw cut ensures that the side guiding channel can be easily (un-)installed during service.

The side guiding channel is installed slightly differently for a balustrade application than for

IM7B; however, the other steps are identical.

Balustrade side guiding channel D: the side guiding channel is installed behind the balustrade

profile on the window profile or in the window frame side.

Then install the removable profile of the deep side guiding channel, which must be above the

balustrade. Screw these profiles onto the side guiding channel.

Place the supports

making sure that a support

is placed above and below the

saw cut.

First install the removable profile of the deep side guiding

channel, which must be behind the balustrade. As it is smaller

than the removable profile of the deep side guiding channel that

is placed above the balustrade, it can easily be slid into place

behind the balustrade from above.
