If your RESERVE Car Navigation system is not powering on, start by checking the fuse and replace it if necessary. If the fuse is not the issue, the problem might be incorrect wiring. In this case, it's best to consult a local specialist.

Why is there no sound output when using amplifiers or a power antenna with my RESERVE Car Navigation system?
    • M
      Mark MoraAug 19, 2025
The lack of sound output when using amplifiers or a power antenna may be due to the power antenna lead being shorted to ground, which can cause excessive current draw, or issues with the remote on the amplifiers or power antenna. Here’s how to troubleshoot: 1. Turn off the unit. 2. Remove all wires attached to the power antenna lead and check each wire for shorts to the ground using an ohm meter. 3. Turn the unit back on. 4. Reconnect each amplifier remote wire to the power antenna lead one by one. If the amplifiers turn off before all wires are attached, it indicates excessive current is required; use an external relay to provide remote-on voltage.
