(3) Press QB9 button to quit tag memory channel scanning
mode.
• Sub-group scan : Press 4D button then press CS9 but-
ton.
The scanning ranges from channel xO to x9; for instance
: when tag memory channel stays in channel 15, the scan-
ning ranges from 10 to 19; when tag memory channel stays
in channel 42, the scanning ranges from 40 to 49.
• All-group scan : Press €D button for 2 seconds then
press QlDbutton. The scanning ranges from channel 00 to
99.
•Delete A Nuisance Channel
It allows users to delete temporarily the channels which you
don't want to hear from the scan list.
During scanning, when the transceiver lands a busy channel,
press Qs? button to temporarily disable this channel from the
scan list, and it won't be scanned until the transceiver is
turned on again.
^NOTE:
This function should not be used in systems critical
vs mission critical communication systems.
Dual watch, It allows two frequencies or tag channels are
monitored at the same time.
In Frequency Mode
(1) Type desired frequency as active frequency.
(2) Type desired frequency as stand-by frequency.
(3) Press 4D button then press
(5MI
button, LCD shows
IDWI.
Both active frequency and stand-by frequency are
swapped scanning each per 0.5 second.
(4) Type the new desired frequency to replace the stand-by
frequency during dual watch.
(5) Press C5P button to swap the active frequency and
stand-by frequency.
(6) Press ^5D button or to quit dual watch mode.
g^NOTE: In dual watch mode, speaker alerts a beep on the
active frequency when transceiver toggles to trans-
mit.
g^NOTE: In active frequency transmitting the
IDWI
icon will be
flashing .
^NOTE:
In dual-watch mode if it is receiving a signal on the
stand-by frequency, a sampling function will quickly
check the active frequency every 3 seconds.
