5. Basic Operation
HTurn On/Off The Transceiver
(1) Press the power button for 2 seconds until transceiver is
turned on. During auto testing, all icons on LCD will ap-
pear and sound power on beep tone.
(2) Press the power button for 2 seconds until transceiver is
turned off.
•Volume Adjustment
Rotate the VOL knob clockwise to increase volume or
counter-clockwise to reduce volume.
•Frequency Selection
Airband frequency range is from 108.000MHz to 136.975MHz
Nav Band Frequency Range: 108.000MHz -117.975MHz.
Com Band Frequency Range: 118.000MHz -136.975MHz.
(1) Type desired frequency by keypad or press the CS)/(S)
button or rotate the dial selector to set desired frequency.
(2) To select the 1MHz tuning step, press •Hi button, LCD
shows Q , press the(3)/(2) button or rotate the dial
selector.
(3) To exit

MHz tuning step, pressO button again or CI
disappear.
•Weather Channel Selection
RHP-530E is able to monitor NOAA weather broadcasts found
throughout North America. There are ten weather channels to
select. Some areas of North America are not able to receive
NOAA broadcasts.
(1) Press d button, LCD appears H then press the -fl
button,
WA' "U I appears, press (3vtS) button or rotate
the dial selector to select weather channel.
(2) Press C9P button to quit weather channel mode.

grammer.

Select airband frequency or weather channel. When a signal
is received, the LED indicator on the top of the transceiver will
glow in green.
