Navigate To A VOR Station In CDI Mode
UNOTE
:
After turning transceiver on, the BHI defaults in
DVOR mode.
•CDI Mode
Change the frequency is prohibited during CDI mode except
dual watch mode.
Frequency can not be changed when CDI mode is selected.
(1) Type desired navigation frequency, the DVOR indicator
appears
(2) Press€DI button then press(52J) button to select CDI
mode.
The CDI indicator appears and the Course Display
and Course Deviation Scale become active.
(3) Press (3)/t?) button or the dial selector or type num-
bers on keypad to set desired course display.

NOTE:
If the signal is lost or too weak, "oFF" will be dis-
played in course display.

and the TO indicator appears.
(2) Use the dial selector or keypad to type desired frequency
while leading TO the station.
(3) The Course Display displays the selected frequency
lead-
ing TO the station.
(4) The Course Deviation Scale displays the aircraft left/right
in relation to the frequency selected.
(5) After passing over the VOR station the TO indicator will
automatically change to EH.

p Automatic CDI Centering Function
The RHP-530E can automatically center the CDI calculation
while aircraft leading TO or actual radial FROM the VOR sta-
tion.
