3.4.6 Periodic Density Fluctuation (1)
The vertical density fluctuates periodically.
Solution:
The solution depends on the interval.
Interval Solution
Approximately 12-18 mm (0.5-0.7 inches) Contact your service representative.
Approximately 50 mm (2 inches) Replace the charge roller. If the problem persists,
contact your service representative.
Approximately 60 mm (2.4 inches) Replace the transfer unit. If the problem persists,
contact your service representative.
Approximately 95 mm (3.7 inches) Contact your service representative.
Approximately 190 mm (7.5 inches) Replace the drum unit. If the problem persists,
contact your service representative.
