Use keys ▲ and ▼ to scroll the various distress grades available:
• Not dened (default setting)
• Abandonment
• Piracy
• Man overboard (MOB)
• Fire
• Flooding
• Collision
• Grounding
• Listing
• Sinking
• Adrift
Keep DISTRESS key pressed to to start countdown (4 seconds) before the
message is sent.
CAUTION
The DSC-call should only be made if the yacht is in a real distress situ-
ation. Otherwise, to send a DSC-call with no need is considered as an
infringement.
