7.8.2 Generator Maintenance

Oil lter change
Use specied oils according to Manufacturer’s indication.
Check the oil level in the crankcase daily or before each start-up to ensure that the level is in
the safe range.
Remove the dipstick and wipe the end clean, reinsert as far as possible, and remove.
Maintain the oil level between the marks (Min and Max).
To change the oil, open the oil drain plug.
Place one in the oil receiver. Remove the oil ll plug.
Open the oil draining valve located on the engine and drain the oil completely in the container.
Change oil according to intervals suggested by the Manufacturer.
CAUTION
Do not mix different oils.
Remove the oil lter by turning it counter clockwise by means of a suitable wrench. Apply a thin
layer of oil to the rubber seal of the new lter. Replace the oil lter according at time intervals
recommended by the Manufacturer.

Replace fuel pre-lter at time intervals recommended by the Manufacturer.
Close the fuel supply valve. Loosen the fuel lter by turning it counter clockwise. Remove the
lter and clean the contact surface. Tighten the lter on the adapter until the seal comes in con-
tact. Replace fuel lter within the intervals indicated by the Manufacturer.
