6.1.3 Hot fresh water system
Water is drawn from the tank by mean of pump and delivered to the water
heater to be hated. The surge tank pump keeps the circuit under pressure
continuously.
The thermostatic valves installed on the water heater allow the setting of the
hot water temperature at the taps.
In order to use hot water, it is necessary to:
The magneto-thermal switches of the water heaters and autoclaves, in
themainelectricalpanel,areintheONposition;
Apowersource(generatororshore)isactive;
Make sure the service battery breaker is in the ON position.
The water heaters are powered by 240V AC, taken from the shore or from
the on board generating sets. The hot water is sent to the following consum-
ers via a distribution manifold:
BathroomsVIPcabins;
Servicebathroom;
Bathroomcabinguests;
Bathroomowner’scabin;
Galleysink;
Sternshower;
Mobilebaronybridge;
Bathrooms crew area.
