Whencleaningisnecessary,wipethePortableChargerwithadampcloth.Donotuse
anythingabrasive.
NOTE
TakecarenottogetwaterinthePortableChargerconnectionpoints.Followthewarnings
in"IMPORTANTSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS"onpage101.
Storing
TostorethePortableChargerinasecurefixedlocation,suchasahomegarage:
l Plugthecableintoadedicatedwalloutletwithinclosedistanceofthevehicle
parkingspotandwithamplecablelengthavailabletoreachthevehicle'schargeport.
l Securethecablebyhangingthecontrolleronahookorscrewinstalledonthewall
neartheoutlet(see"InstallingaWallMount"below).
l Keepthecablepluggedinwhennotinuse.(Thishelpstopreventwearonboththe
chargerplugandtheoutlet.)
Forportablestorageofthecable,unplugthecablefromthepoweroutlet,coilthecable
(nosharpbends),andplaceitinthestoragebag.
InstallingaWallMount
HolesonthebackofthePortableChargercontrollerprovideawaytohangthecontroller
onawall.
1.Installahookoranchorscrewonthewallnearthepoweroutlet.Ifyoudecideto
installascrewinsteadofahook:
l Selectascrewwithaheadthatwillfitintooneoftheopeningsonthebackof
thecontroller.
l Installitwithenoughdistancefromthewalltofitthemountholeoverit.
2.Hangthecontrolleronthehookorscrew.
