InstallingChildSeatswithLATCH
LATCH(LowerAnchorsandTethersforChildren)orISOFIXisachildseatinstallation
optionallowingchildseatstobeinstalledwithoutusingthevehicle'sseatbelts.Instead,
thechildseatsaresecuredtodedicatedanchoragepointsonthevehicleseats.
OnlyusetheLATCHsystemtoinstallchildseatsinaccordancetothemanufacturer
recommendations,includingconsiderationstothechild'sweightandheight.Follow
instructionsonchildseatspacingwithLATCHinstallation.DonotuseLATCHinadditionto
theseatbeltinstallationmethod.Forforward-facinginstallation,LATCHcanprovidemore
stabilitywiththetoptetheranchoragesinceithasanadditionalconnectionpointbetween
thechildseatandthevehicle.

IntheRivianvehicle,onlythetwooutboardseatssupportLATCHinstallation,whilethe
middleseatismeanttobeusedwithaseat-belt-retainedseat.
