PreparingtheVehicleforTowing
1.Placethefrontwheelsinthestraight-aheadposition.
2.Useanylonbridleorshortendlessloopsthroughthelowercontrolarms.
CAUTION
DoNOTuseahooktoattachtothecontrolarms.Thevehiclehasflexible
hydrauliclinesnearthesuspensionthatcanbedamagedifahookisused.
TheElectronicParkBrakecanbedisengagedelectronicallyormechanically.Before
disengaging,ensurethewheelsarechockedandthevehicleisconnectedtothetowtruck
winchwithanendlesslooporbridle.
ReleasetheElectronicParkBrakefromthecenterdisplayinsidethevehicle.
1.Selectthegearonthebottomofthecenterdisplay.
2.SelectServiceandShip.
3.SelecttheParkBrakeOverride.
4.Confirmthereleaseoftheelectronicparkingbrake.
IftheElectronicParkBrakedoesnotreleaseelectronically,releasemanuallyfromeachrear
wheel.
1.DisconnecttheElectronicParkBrakeelectricalconnector.
2.Removethetwo5mmAllenbolts.
3.RemoveElectronicParkBrakefromthecaliper.
4.Turnthe5mmAllenfastenertodisengagetheparkingbrake.
