SeatBeltMaintenance
Usemildsoapwithwaterandasoftclothtocleansurfacestainsontheseatbelt.Inspect
theseatbeltsperiodicallyforsignsofdamage,includingwearandtear.ContacttheRivian
CustomerEngagementCentertoservicetheseatbelts.
Don'tusebleachorotherharshsubstancestocleanthebeltssincethiscanaffecttheir
strengthandperformance.Don'tmakemodificationstotheseatbeltsthatwouldprevent
themfromproperlyoperating.
Headrests
WARNING
Alloccupants,includingthedriver,shouldnotoperateavehicleorsitina
vehicle'sseatuntiltheheadrestsareplacedintheirproperpositionsinorder
tominimizetheriskofneckinjuryintheeventofacrash.
FrontSeatHeadrests
Thedriver'sseatandpassengerseatareequippedwithintegratedheadrests.The
integratedheadrestsarenotadjustable.Adjusttheseattotheproperpositionbefore
operatingthevehicle.
{Graphic-sideviewofproperpositionandanglerelativetooccupant'shead-possiblyadd
animageoftheseatcontrols.Theseatshouldnotbereclinedmorethan20degrees.Make
suretheshoulderbeltsitsfirmlyacrossyourchestandshoulder.Donotoperatethevehicle
ifthereisagapbetweentheseatbeltandyourchest}
