ChargingtheVehicle
StartingaChargingSession
Onceparkedatacharger,startachargingsessionasfollows:
1.Openthechargeportdoor.
2.Getthechargecable.
l Ifusingapubliccharger,followanythird-partyinstructionstoreleasethecharge
cableandstartcharging.
l IfusingthePortableCharger,plugitintothepoweroutletbeforepluggingitinto
thevehicle.
3.Alignthechargeplugtothevehicle'schargeportandinsertfully.
l IfusingtheRivianAdventureNetwork(orotherDCcharger),liftthevehicle'sDC
chargeportcoverbeforepluggingintothevehicle.
Chargingstartsautomatically.Theremaybeashortdelayifthebatteryrequiresheatingor
cooling.
NOTE
Whenthevehicleispluggedinbutnotactivelycharging,itdrawsenergyfromthecharger
insteadofusingthebattery.
