5.3 Alarms management
SENTINEL is designed to signal when one or more monitored parameters overcame the values memorized
in the SMART KEY, there are two alarm levels :
5.3.1 Prealarm.
The DISPLAY visualizes the Prealarm message and the parameter that has induced it.
The yellow led LED2 switch on and the relay RL2 is commutated
The blower continues the normal operation.
EXAMPLE : The gear side oil temperature exceeds the Prealarm value.
5.3.2 Alarm/Blower stopping
The DISPLAY visualizes the STOP message and the parameter that has induced it.
The red led LED3 switch on and the relay RL1 is commutated
The blower is stopped
WARNING : The blower is stopped only if SENTINEL is connected in correct way to the electric
motor starting panel (see paragraph 4.3.1)
EXAMPLE : The gear side oil temperature has exceeded the critic value after which the blower can have
disservices
NOTE : Restore the correct operating conditions before restarting the blower.
To restart the blower follows the Restarting the blower procedure (see paragraph 5.2.2.)
5.4 Alarm limits values adjustment
Only ROBUSCHI qualified personnel for this operation can modify the alarm and prealarm limits of the
blower operating parameters.
Contact ROBUSCHI or an authorized distributor to modify the operating parameters limits.
WARNING : If the SMART-KEY is take away from the C1 connector SENTINEL stops the
blower, visualizes the bottom message lightning and remains in stand by till the key is
connected again.
