8.1 Troubleshooting
Electronic control of the ROTEX HPSU compact:
– Signals a fault by red backlighting in the display and
– Shows a fault code in the display (see tab. 8-2).
An integrated fault memory stores up
to 15 fault messages that
have occurred most recently.
Depending on the operating mode, the fault messages are also
forwarded to connected room stations or room thermostats.

8.1.2 Reading the fault memory
The last received (latest) fault message is in the first position. 
All the other previous fault messages are then pushed backwards
by o
ne place when a new entry is made. The 16th fault message
will be deleted every time a new fault message is received.

8.1.3 Solving failures
Troubleshooting the electrical, coolant and hydraulic
systems of the ROTEX HPSU compact may be per-
formed only by authorised and trained heating experts.
