10.2 LTE Interference Analysis
Pressing twice the BARSCAN button, toggles the LTE INTERFERENCE AUTOTEST view.
This test determines the interference level on TV signals due to LTE carriers and displays the
suggested value of the attenuator that should be placed on the receiving antenna to decrease LTE
carriers level, thus compensate their interference.
During the test, the embedded LTE Filter is always off, to let the meter evaluate correctly the
interferers magnitude and give the user the correct feedback about the real interference level. If
the test result is PASS, then no LTE filter should be placed in antenna as the LTE level is not
harming the TV reception; conversly, if the test result is MARGIN or FAIL, a specific filter is
required and the suitable value is suggested by the meter at the bottom of the analysis screen.
