Wireless Screen Mirroring (BYOD – Bring Your Own Device)
The UC-IVB-50 allows users to share multimedia content wirelessly from their mobile devices and laptops
using AirPlay, Miracast, or the UC-MXT Media Xchange™ Transmitter to the HDMI
®
display connected
to the UC-IVB-50. For convenience and easy reference, a brief summary of the following connection
instructions is displayed on the default Guide Screen of the UC-IVB-50.
1. Using an Apple Device
Step 1: Enable the Wi-Fi or WLAN feature of your Apple device.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone/iPad/Mac device via Wi-Fi to the same network that the UC-IVB-50 is
connected to, or if the UC-IVB-50 is not attached to a network, connect to the Soft AP (access
point) Wi-Fi network that is enabled on the UC-IVB-50.
Step 3: Open Control Center on your Apple device, tap to select the mirroring device
(default: UC-IVB-50) from the pop-up menu.
2. Using an Android Phone
Samsung Galaxy series example:
Step 1: Enable the Wi-Fi or WLAN feature of your mobile device.
Step 2: On your mobile device, swipe down from the top and tap or to select
appropriate mirroring device (default: UC-IVB-50) from the pop-up CONNECT menu.
3. Using a Windows PC
Windows 10 or Windows 11 example:
Step 1: Enable the Wi-Fi or WLAN feature of your PC.
Step 2: On your PC, press the combination keys “ + K” to select appropriate mirroring device
(default:UC-IVB-50) from the pop-up menu.
