EN-67Manual | TM3-Primus 5 | Reference Level Adjust | 5.1 | Input level
EN
With the Reference level menu option of the setup menu, the analog
references (input level, dBu/0 dBFS relation) of TM3-Primus can be ad-
apted to local requirements by software. The physical calibration adjusted
at RTW (see 7 | Calibration chapter) shall be unchanged not to lose the
absolute dBu referencing.
5.1 | Input level
TM3-Primus has been calibrated at RTW in the way that a DIN5 scale
reads 0 dB, if a reference level of +6 dBu is present and the analog re-
ference level setting of TM3-Primus is set to +6 dBu. The software will
automatically adjust the reference level according to the chosen country
during initial boot up. With a scale change like for instance a British scale
this would mean an automatic referencing to +8 dBu for display “6”. With
a VU instrument for example with the country selection US it would au-
tomatically be +4 dBu for 0 dB on display. The reference level setting of
+6dBu on TM3-Primus can be adjusted in steps of 0.1 dBu.
