3 | Operation

3.1 | System Start-up

1. At ﬁ rst, place the unit in a way, that there is enough space to connect

the delivered USB connecting cable to a computer or the delivered

USB mains adapter and this to mains supply.

2. Connect the signal source to the unit as described in the 2 | Installati-

on chapter as well as in the 3.2 | Signal Sources section (see below).

3 Connect the delivered USB connecting cable to the unit.

4. Connect the USB connecting cable to the computer or to the USB

mains adapter and this to mains supply. After a short time TM3-Primus

presents the requests for the initial conﬁ guration.

5. After area and domain (analog, digital, USB) have been set, TM3-

Primus will be ready for use.

6. If you want to use a USB audio data stream as signal source, please

deﬁ ne TM3-Primus as a standard audio output device on your compu-

ter system.
