Environment
Preserving the environment is an essential concern of the manufacturer. The manufacturer wishes to operate
installations that are environmentally-friendly and has chosen to integrate environmental performance in the whole life
cycle of its products, from manufacture to installation, use and elimination.

In this way, you participate in the reuse and recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment which may have
potential effects on the environment and human health.
Energy saving and Energy Star
EU legislation on energy conservation:
Your machine consumes less than 0.5 watts in standby mode, and thus complies with European Commission
Regulation No 1275/2008 of 17 December 2008 implementing the European Parliament and Council Directive 2009/
125/EC as regards the Eco-design requirements for the power consumption in standby mode for electrical and
electronic office equipment.
Power consumption is one of the main environmental impacts of electronic products. You can reduce your energy
consumption by adjusting your product's standby options (see section “Standby” en page 24).

As such, European regulations require that it be collected selectively:
At distribution points in the event an equivalent item of equipment is purchased.
In collection points available locally (household waste facility, selective collection, etc.).
The international ENERGY STAR® programme aims at promoting the development and
awareness of low-consumption office equipment.
As an ENERGY STAR® partner, Sagemcom Documents SAS has determined that this
product meets the ENERGY STAR® directives in terms of energy savings.
After a period of inactivity of adjustable duration, your device will automatically switch to
power saving mode.
