Press the 4 or _ button to select the Antenna connection,
then press the ENTER_ button.
Air : "Ai¢' antenna signal
Cable : "Cable"antenna signal
Air+Cable : "Ai¢' and "Cable" antenna signals
When selecting Cable TVsystem:
Pressthe ENTER _ buttonto start theauto program.
Bydefault, the cable TV system isset to"STD".
Ifyou wantto select anothertype of cable system,
pressthe 4 or _. button to select "STD", "HRC" or"IRC".
STD, HRC and IRC identify various types of cable TV systems.
Contact your local cable company to identify the type of cable system
that exists in your particular area.
At this point the signal source has been selected.
Press the ENTER _ to start the auto program.
The TV begins memorizing all available stations.
Press the ENTER _ button at any time to interrupt the
memorization process.
Select "Return" by pressing the A or v button, then
press the ENTER _ button to return to the previous
menu. Press the EXtT button to exit.
The TV must be connected to air/cable in order to receivedigital
TV signals. Even if a particular channelis deleted from the memory,
you can always tune to that channel directly by using the number buttons
on the remote control.
When connecting Digital Cable to a Set*TopBox, Channel Memorization is
done on the STB.
Toview the STB on your TV, select the Inputjack the STB isconnected to
with the SOURCE button on the remote control. (see page 32)
