Why does my Sanyo Projector turn off automatically?

There are several reasons why your Sanyo Projector might be turning off automatically: * The power management function may be running due to its initial settings. Check the “SETTING” section. * If the filter replacement icon appears for some time when turning on the projector and the filter isn't replaced, the projector will automatically shut down in 3 minutes to protect it. * The projector may be used in high ambient temperature environment. Ensure the temperature is within the operating range (41°F–104°F [5°C–40°C]). * Ensure that you are not covering the ventilation slots on the projector.
