Installing the Column
EB..DCE-IX, EB..EDE-IX Models:
● Gently turn the scale over so that the pan support
is on the bottom; place it on a soft surface.
● Sever the two cable retainers that hold the
display cable
● Remove the strain relief clamp
● Remove the fastening screws from the display
and control unit, and remove this unit.
● Draw a length of the display cable out
of the scale approximately equal to the length
of the column.
