4.5 Graphic Options
Dithering
Set the dithering algorithm. Move the slider to preview the result of applying the
algorithm.
Theamountofdatasenttotheprinterwillvarydependingonthesettings.Thecloser
itisto[Photo],thelargerthecapacity,andthecloseritisto[Clipart],thesmallerthe
capacity.
Note:
Ditheringisatechniquetochangeadotpatternaccordingtoaspecicalgorithm.Evenaprinter
thatcanonlyexpresstwocolors,whiteandblack,canexpresscolorandgrayscaleimagesasif
theywereexpressedingradation.
