Why is my Sceptre E20 saying “Signal Out of Range”?
    • T
      Tiffany LoganAug 31, 2025
The “Signal Out of Range” message on your Sceptre monitor typically indicates an incompatible refresh rate. If you have a CRT monitor, connect it to your computer and lower the refresh rate to 60 Hz through your video card's display settings. If you don't have a CRT monitor or it's broken, turn off both the LED monitor and your computer. Then, turn them back on and continuously press the “F8” key until a selection menu appears. Select “Safe Mode,” uninstall any video card and monitor drivers via “Add / Remove Programs” or “System Properties,” and reboot your computer. After rebooting, install your monitor driver first, followed by your video card driver, ensuring the refresh rate is set to 60Hz.
