Health risk/Risk of irritation and
burns
• During cleaning, hot cleaning liquid and hot
water ow out of the outlets.
• The hot liquids could irritate the skin and
the heat creates a risk of burns.
> Never reach under the outlets during
cleaning.
> Before every cleaning, put a collecting
container which can hold at least 3 litres
under the outlet.
> Ensure that no one ever drinks cleaning
liquid.
The cleaning programme proceeds
step-by-step through the system cleaning via
the display.
Follow the notications.
7.4.2 System cleaning
Start-up
* Call up the Care menu
* Tap on Cleaning programmes
* Tap on System cleaning
The following question appears: "Switch o󰀨 after
cleaning?"
• If conrmed with Yes , the co󰀨ee machine
switches o󰀨 after cleaning.
• If conrmed with No , the co󰀨ee machine restarts
after cleaning.
* Select the desired option
* Follow the information on the display

IMPORTANT
During cleaning, a small amount
of rinse water could get into the
grounds container. This is not
an error.
