8.6 Disassembly/assembly of the gripping module
WARNING
Risk of injury due to spring forces on variants with
maintenance of gripping force
With the "O.D. gripping" version, the bushing (46) or cover
housing (35) is under spring tension.
With the "I.D. gripping" version, the piston (36) is under spring
tension.
CAUTION
The needle rollers are suitable only for this product and cannot
be replaced with needle rollers belonging to another product of
the same type and size.
For assembly, observe the permissible tightening torques as well
as the greases and adhesives to be used, }8.4 [/46] and }8.3
[/44].
8.6.1 Changing the gripping module – GSM-P 32
Disassembling
1. Remove all compressed air lines.
2. Loosen and remove both screws (1).
3. Remove gripping module (2) from socket (4).
4. Remove O-ring (3) from groove of socket (4) and discard.
