8.6.2 Changing the gripping module ā GSM-P 40-64
Disassembling
1. Remove all compressed air lines.
2. Loosen and remove both screws (1).
3. Remove gripping module (2) from socket (4).

Assembling GSM-P manufactured before 05/2019:
Assembly position is not marked on the socket.
1. Insert gripping module (2) into socket (4) and align so that
the dot marking of the gripping module points to the middle
of the semicircular side of the socket.
2. Using new screws (1) from the spare parts package, screw the
gripping module (2) firmly onto the socket (4).
Note: Observe max. tightening torque!
3. Secure all compressed air lines.
GSM-P manufactured after 05/2019:
Correct assembly position is marked on the socket.
1. Insert gripping module (2) into socket (4) and align so that
the arrow marking of the socket points to the dot marking of
the gripping module.
2. Using new screws (1) from the spare parts package, screw the
gripping module (2) firmly onto the socket (4).
Note: Observe max. tightening torque!
3. Secure all compressed air lines.
Clean all parts thoroughly and check for damage and wear. When
assembling, use the parts from the spare part package. Grease all
parts with the specified lubricant.
