FPS flexible position sensor
For grippers in the MPG-plus 20-32sizes, special gripper versions are
available which are equipped for the attachment of the FPS-S13 po-
sition sensor.
With these grippers, the FPS-S13 position sensor is mounted directly
onto the gripper.
To install the FPS-S13 flexible position sensor onto the
MPG-plus 40 / 50 / 64gripper, a mounting kit must be mounted on
the gripper. This mounting kit can be ordered from SCHUNK.

1 Position the active sensor area (circular elevation (1)) in the re-
cess provided for it in the housing (2).
2 Fasten the FPS-S13 position sensor (3) using the two screws (4)
(max. tightening torque 1 Ncm).
