3. Select the “Lrn” menu item.
The symbol flashes.
The device connects to the router of the WiFi network.
As soon as the device is connected to the WiFi network, the symbol
is permanently on.
Connecting the device to the WiFi
network (seca connect 103)
Connect your device to the WiFi network via the seca connect 103 software if
you do not have any access to the WPS function of the router or want to
incorporate several devices:
NOTE
As soon as the device is connected to a WiFi network, the Autohold
function is activated automatically. The Autohold function cannot be
deactivated if the device is connected to a WiFi network.
1. Connect the barcode scanner to the device (see “Connecting the barcode
scanner” on page 51).
2. Enter the data for the WiFi network in the seca connect 103 software as
described in the administrator manual for the software.
3. Scan the QR code generated in the software.
The symbol flashes.
The name of the network and the password for the WiFi network are
saved in the device.
The device connects to the router of the WiFi network.
As soon as the device is connected to the WiFi network, the symbol
is permanently on.
5. OPERATION
5.1 Weighing (without barcode recognition)
WARNING!
Injury from falling
Baby scales generally stand on raised work surfaces. If the baby falls
from this surface, this may result in serious irreversible or fatal injuries.
► Ensure that the device is steady and level.
► Route connecting cables (if present) in such a way that people
cannot trip over them.
► Never leave a baby unsupervised.
Starting the weighing procedure NOTICE!
Incorrect measurement as a result of force shunt
Operation of the measuring rod affects the weight display of the scale.
Weight values which are displayed during a length measurement do
not correspond to the patient's actual weight.
► Ensure that you do not touch the scale whilst weight is being
measured.
► Only read off weight values before or after measuring length.
1. Ensure that there is no load on the scale.
2. Press the Start key.
