Setting filtering (FIL) Filtering (FIL) allows you to reduce interference (e.g. as a result of patient
movement) when determining weight.
1. Select the item “FIL” from the menu.
2. Confirm your selection.
The current setting is displayed.
3. Select a filtering level.
– 0: low filtering
– 1: moderate filtering
– 2: high filtering
4. Confirm your selection.
You exit the menu automatically.
Setting display backlighting (Lcd) You can change the duration and brightness of display backlighting.
1. Select the item “Lcd” from the menu.
2. Confirm your selection.
3. Select a menu item:
– dUr: Duration
– brI: Brightness
4. Confirm your selection.
The current setting is displayed.
5. Select the desired setting:

You exit the menu automatically.
7. If you also want to make settings for the second function, repeat the
process.
Setting standby time (AOff) In battery mode, the scale remains on standby for 60 seconds (factory set-
ting). If there is no input during standby time, the scale switches off automati-
cally. Measured results will be discarded. You can adjust standby time:
Proceed as follows to adjust standby time:
1. Select the item “AOff” from the menu.
2. Confirm your selection.
The time currently set is displayed (in this case: 600 seconds).
3. Select the desired time:
► To increase value: Press hold arrow key
► To reduce value: Press tare arrow key
