Use of the Ballistic Recovery System is recommended:
- if it is not possible to continue safe flight because of structural failure
caused by bird strike, collision, overloading, over-speed, icing
- if it is not possible to land safely because of flight in IMC conditions
- if pilot lost control of aircraft position because of spin, turbulence
- if pilot can´t find safe field for forced landing
- if landing on water is necessary
- if pilot lost capability to control aircraft – heart attack, seizure
Trying to land aircraft in all above-mentioned circumstances brings pilot
