SLEEP MODE
When the unit is left idle for the specified period of time, the unit will automatically enter the
sleep mode to save energy. Follow the steps listed below to set the time to elapse before
switching over to the sleep mode function.

Press the "MENU" button, and keep pressing the (or )
"ARROW" button until "Sleep Mode" is shown on the first line
of the display panel.

Keep pressing the (or ) "ARROW" button until the desired
value appears on the second line of the display panel.
Select the desired value from "1. 5 minutes" (Default setting), "2. 10 minutes",
"3. 15 minutes" and "4. None" setting values.

Press the "ENTER" button.
A checkmark ( ) will be added to show the selected setting. After displaying the
selected value for one second, the display will return to the ready message.
To make the unit ready from the "Sleep Mode"...
Press the "START" button ( ), open the front cover, or set paper on the bypass
tray.
