C. Check the packed items
1) Check that all the items are included in the package.
2. Installation
<Note before installation>
* Start installation after checking that the LINE indicator and the
DATA indicator below it on the operation panel are neither lit nor
blinking.
A. Turn OFF the power of the main unit
This is to ensure that the machine is not receiving or sending data.
1) Turn OFF the power switch on the operation panel.
2) Open the front cabinet of the main unit. Turn OFF the power
switch in the front cabinet.
3) Disconnect the power plug of the main unit from the power out-
let.
B. Attach the mounting plate upper and the lower
front/rear connecting plate
1) Attach the mounting plate upper (Package part No. 1) with the
fixing screw A (Package part No. 4) to the installation part of
right side of the main unit. When installing, put the rubber sec-
tion ( ) of the mounting plate upper on the lower side.
2) Remove the fixing screws of the front/rear cover on the lower
part of the main unit. Attach the connecting plate lower front
(Package part No. 2) to the lower front side of the main unit
with the fixing screw B (Package part No. 5).
Attach the connecting plate lower rear (Package part No. 3) to
the lower rear side of the main unit with the fixing screw B
(Package part No. 5).
3) Remove the fixing screws (2 pcs.) of the machine entry port,
and remove the entry port cover.
4) Reverse the entry port cover and re-attach it to the machine.
Secure it with the two previously removed screws in procedure
3).
