14 Shielding and Grounding
14.1 Potential equalisation
Caution:
All applicable laws and codes must be complied with at all
times.
The pyrometer housing is connected to the shielding via the cable
connector! Differences in ground potentials might cause an equalis-
ing current to flow between devices through a cable shielded at
both ends.
In this case, be sure to install an additional potential equalisation
line.
