Recording an announcement
1. Press and hold the relevant labeled button to start the recording.
a The microphone is activated.
2. Talk into the microphone at a normal sound level.
a The announcement is recorded in the device's internal memory.
3. Release the relevant labeled button to stop the recording
Play back and listen to a recorded announcement

Press the relevant labeled button.
a The recorded announcement is played back on the internal speaker.
Deletion of recorded announcements
◈
A new recording deletes the previous recorded announcement. Only one
recorded announcement is possible.
Or
◈
Disconnect the call station from the power supply.
a Recorded voice messages are deleted from the device's internal memory.
Resetting the fault message
w LED 'FAULT' lights up.
◈
Press the button labeled <RESET>.
a LED 'FAULT' turns off.
a The fault in the system has been rectified.
a The fault message is reset.
Recurring fault messages
w The LED 'FAULT' lights up again.
w The fault in the system has not been rectified.
◈
Inform Siemens customer support.
a Request that maintenance be carried out by technical personnel.
