Function test
● Carry out the function test at the specified intervals in accordance with the
local requirements and standards.
● Perform the function test on site at the same time as the system
acceptance test
● If the system is connected to a fire detection installation (FDI), the function
test must be performed with the FDI connected.
You can test the required visual and acoustic indicating elements according to
EN 54-16 by operating them manually in access level 1 or 2 in accordance with
the configuration of the VACIE.
● Check the display and LED for any indication of shutdowns if corresponding
devices are part of the system.
● Check the display by pressing the <Buzzer reset/test – Quittierung/Test>
button on PT2004-A1 and PT2007-A1, and the <Silence Buzzer/LED Test>
button on PT2010-A1.
● Check the keypad functions.
● A full acceptance test must be performed after every time a change is made
to the system.
Testing interval
All indicating elements must be tested every six months.
Cleaning the control panels
To clean the control panels, use a wet cloth without any cleaning agents,
abrasives or solvents.
