Sending or copying an entry or list (phone-
book)
You can send an entry or a list to a central server to save
it. Any phone number between 00 and 99 can be used
for this purpose (Æ Page 55).
Restriction:The entries in the handset’s phonebook are
stored in vCard format (Æ Page 48). The communica-
tion system, however, uses another format. This can
cause loss of phonebook entry information. The fea-
tures that are new for the vCard format are indicated by
an asterisk (= new for vCard format) in the table on
Æ Page 48. The phone numbers are not affected.
s Open the phonebook.

or t Select the required entry.
Open the menu.
either:

[Select the menu item and confirm.
or:
st
[Select the menu item and confirm.
then:
st [Select the menu item and confirm.
o Enter any phone number between 00 and 99.
Press the display key. The entry/list is sent.
Attention:
An existing backup is overwritten if you send an
entry with multiple phone numbers to the com-
munication system or if you send a complete
list.
Note: An entry with a phone number is always
added to an existing backup.
