Overview: Access to the LINK as proxy 
Overview of the options for accessing the LINK in the "PROFINET IO proxy" mode 
If there is a connection established to the IO controller you have the following options for 
accessing the LINK. 
Note: Stopping the IO controller CPU does not lead to connection termination with the LINK.

Is not allowed because an IP service is used here. Permitted with DCP-based services, since only possible locally. 
According to IEC 61158-x-10 changing the IP parameters of an IO device when a connection is established is not premit-
ted.

: Not supported for reasons of compatiblity. Reformatting the C-PLUG for IE/PB LINK PN IO V3 is permitted. 
There are restrictions in the following situations: 
●  The LINK in "Proxy" mode is in the STOP status. 
●  The LINK in "Proxy" mode has no connection to the IO controller. 
●  The LINK is in "Standard mode" and was configured only via PST (DCP).
