106 MICROMASTER 420 Operating Instructions
6SE6400-5AA00-0BP0
Class 3: Filtered - for residential, commercial and light industry
This level of performance will allow the manufacturer / assembler to self-certify
compliance of their apparatus with the EMC directive for the residential, commercial and
light industrial environment as regards the EMC performance characteristics of the power
drive system. Performance limits are as specified in the generic emission and immunity
standards EN 50081-1 and EN 50082-1.

Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Field,
pulse modulated
ENV 50 204 900 MHz, 10 V/m 50% duty

* These limits are dependent on the inverter being correctly installed inside a metallic switchgear
enclosure. The limits will not be met if the inverter is not enclosed.
Notes
• To achieve these performance levels, you must not exceed the default Pulse
frequency nor use cables longer than 25 m.
• The MICROMASTER inverters are intended exclusively for professional
applications. Therefore, they do not fall within the scope of the harmonics
emissions specification EN 61000-3-2.
• Maximum mains supply voltage when filters are fitted is 460V.
