How to access the OS 0
This is the procedure for shutting down the application software and accessing Windows.
NOTE
Never perform the following operation when the CXDI host pro-
gram is operating, such as during the QA process, image transfer,
communication with RIS or generator, etc.
Access to the OS is allowed only for the service engineer. Since
important settings and files are saved there, never allow the user
access to the OS because the CXDI system will not operate prop-
erly if the operation is not performed properly.
Procedures 0
• Switch off the MOBILETT XP Digital.
• Open the top cover of the MOBILETT XP Digital, lay it sideways on a table or the like
and access the PC interior. Do not disconnect any cables.
• Open the PC so that it is possible to use the keyboard of the PC.
• Switch the MOBILETT XP Digital on.
• Select SYSTEM/CONFIGURATION/ADMINISTRATOR SETUP/SERVICE TOOL.
• Click on the password box.
¹ Enter the administrator password and confirm with “OK” (refer to the password
list).
• Select “exit to OS“ in the menu.
• Start via “START”.
¹ Enter the Siemens service password and confirm with “OK” (refer to the pass-
word list).
¹ The application software closes.
