What is the NK8223 Ethernet port?
The NK8223 is used to connect local and distributed safety and security devices to
the NK8000 network. It provides a first level of centralisation and acts as a secure
communication partner for the NS8210 NK8000 driver of MM8000 or MK8000, and
provides serial connectivity for MM8000, MK8000, and MT8001.
What is the NK8222 Ethernet port?
The NK8222 functions in exactly the same way as the NK8223 with one exception:
it connects to a single safety and security device rather than multiple devices. It
provides an economical solution for smaller configurations.
What is the NK8225 Ethernet port with BACnet gateway?
As with theNK8223, the NK8225 is also used to connect local and distributed
safety and security devices to the NK8000 network, and it provides a first level of
centralisation. It acts as a secure communication partner for the NS8210 NK8000
driver of MM8000 or MK8000, and provides serial connectivity for MM8000,
MK8000, and MT8001. Additionally, it converts the native protocols of CS114x
AlgoRex, CS6 MP3, and SI410 Sintony to BACnet, thus acting as a secure com-
munication partner for DESIGO building automation and control systems.
Local interactions
Interactions are possible between the subsystems connected to NK822x and the
locally connected I/O modules. Incoming messages can trigger one or more com-
mand messages to other subsystems.
Note: Incoming messages can be combined with the logical operators AND, OR,
XOR, and NOT.
The configuration is done via an easy to use interactions tool, and then
downloaded to the NK822x.
