7 Configuring NK8000
After you have installed the Danger Management System (DMS) and Composer,
you need to configure the DMS

Once that is done, you perform the NK8000 configuration procedures to get the
NK822xs communicating with the Danger Management System.
For configuration details, see the DMS8000 Network, Fire & Intrusion Con-
nectivity Configuration Guide (edms #007083).
You should have all hardware installed at the client site (such as control units, all
cables, wiring, and so on) before you perform the procedures in this section.
7.1 Configuration checklist
Verify that you have satisfied the items needed in the first checklist before proceed-
ing to the configuration checklist that follows.
